5/20/01 — recording — recordings at the church with john and reese

Church recordings with Reese Richardson. Limited time and people — John and Nick only; Scott had dropped off his drum set (school band concert), and Cody had to work.

Reese brought a Sony minidisc recorder, a guitar amp head, a Mesa cab, and a pedal board. Church PA ran a line to the recorder.

Tracks: John on drums (Peavey 57-style mics); Nick acoustic rhythm while John lipped words; John lead guitar; Nick Peavey Milestone III bass through a Peavey keyboard amp; John lead vocals on Reese's mic (effects processor not used on the final).

Plans to finish at Reese's (guitar solo, piano, BGVs, mix) never happened. Fallen Angel was supposed for Fallen Months but TDG later redid it when the song changed. Everything — no recordings kept.
